Rainbow baby photography sessions that are part of the Year of Rainbows Project, are always a favorite of mine. Rainbow babies and their families are so special, and it is an honor to get to photograph their newest addition to the family. Each session I do as part of the Year of Rainbows project, only makes it more special to me. I love being able to gift these families a session, and images of their growing family.

These guys made the trip down from Lakeville for their session, and I am so glad they were selected for October’s Rainbow Baby. They are such a sweet family and my big sister was ecstatic about the session. She was also pretty excited to have her own “big sister” pictures during the session too.

Big sister’s face full shows how excited she is for her little sister. Each little face is just filled with emotion. From joy, excitement, to love. She is ready to tackle her big sister duties with her new best friend.

This little one had the cutest newborn features. From her lips, toes, lashes, to her fuzzy little hairline. I couldn’t resist capturing them all for mom and dad to remember.

This rainbow bucket prop from Hello Little Props is a new addition to the studio collection of props – and was PERFECT for this rainbow baby photography sessions. It even perfectly matched my favorite rainbow headband.

Rainbow baby photography sessions are so special. I wish I could do more, and photograph every baby. Unfortunately, I have to narrow it down to one baby a month. I would love to photograph more, and love that more and more families are applying to be part of the project.
