These little guys came in for their Minneapolis 6 month old twins photography session, and I was thrilled to see them again.  They were in for a newborn session a few months ago, and it was great to see them again.  I love getting to watch little ones grow up over the years at their milestone sessions, especially sessions that take place when babies are in their first year of life.  And sessions are so much more fun when there are two babies! There are so many changes that happen in that first 12 months of life, and sessions like this Minneapolis 6 month old twins photography session are a great way to document it.

My go to set up for Minneapolis 6 month old twins photography session backdrops is my bed in the studio. It is also a favorite of little kids.  Sitting on a bed, playing with blankets and pillows, and bouncing on a soft bed are all things they are familiar doing, and makes them feel at home in the studio quickly at the start of the session.  Plus it is an adorable set up that had textures and depth, but doesn’t take attention away from the little one during the Minneapolis 6 month old twins photography session. For these twin babies, we took pictures of them together and pictures of them together.  They had so much fun, and one really liked how one of the blankets tasted.

If you follow my page, then you know this white highchair is another go to prop for a Minneapolis 6 month old twins photography session.  It is simple, helps kids that are still perfecting sitting skills to sit up, and always seems to get some great facial expressions from babies since they all seem to think a highchair means food.  And food makes everyone happy.

I wish I had a great story for how I found the adorable highchair used for my Minneapolis 6 month old baby photography session, but I don’t.  It was a $5 flea market find at a Fourth of July flea market in Northfield a few years ago.  I just added a little white paint and it made the perfect prop for babies during a Minneapolis 6 month old twins photography session.

One of the other backdrops available for a Minneapolis 6 month old twins photography session is this wooden backdrop and floor drop. It is a great classic and simple option for session, and adds a little color to sessions that already have mostly white backdrops.  I also have a bunch of adorable boxes and buckets for use in sessions.  Like this little box that is just big enough to fit these Minneapolis 6 month old twins for their session.

I know trying to dress kids for a Minneapolis 6 month old twins photography session can be difficult, and having a studio wardrobe of child outfits is my way of making life a little easier for moms.  Another great option for milestone sessions when babies are around 6 months are for them to be nude.  There is nothing cuter than a baby butt – other than too.

In addition to the other props we have mentioned, this little white bed prop is a favorite too for a Minneapolis 6 month old twins photography session.  It is small enough to just fir little ones, gives 6 month olds some support or something to hold onto so they don’t tip over.  It’s great for both baby boys and baby girls, and a prop that parents always seem to be drawn to.
