I do my best to fit in all Fresh 48 inqueries.  Please reach out and I will let you know if I have an opening.  If I don’t, I will refer you to photographer friends that may be able to accommodate your baby.

Fresh 48 sessions take place either in the hospital in the days after baby’s birth, or in your home in the first few days when baby is home. Travel expenses may apply dependent on hospital and home distance from Northfield MN.

Anything you want!  I have had families schedule their session at the same time old siblings meet baby for the first time.  When baby is having their footprints taken.  When grandparents visit.  Other families want a more intimate session with just baby and parents.  

Be sure to check with your hospital in advance so you know their current visitor restrictions. 

Fresh 48 sessions typically last about an hour.  Since they are more documentary style, we are able to fit more into a shorter session. 

Once your session is booked, I will send you a what to expect guide that has tips to plan for your Fresh 48 session.

I will also bring some simple staple pieces from the studio with me to the session.  These are things like a simple swaddles, bonnets, and headbands.

Yes!  I always encourage my clients to invest in printed products.  I know we live in a digital world, but there is nothing better than pictures of your family hanging on your wall, beautiful albums, and prints. I work with top printing labs from across the country to offer stunning ways to display your family pictures.

Yes.  I know prints and products are not a good match for everyone.  Digital images are included with every photography session packages.

You will be invited back to the studio 1-2 weeks after your session for your viewing and ordering appointment. This is when you will see your final images.  I will also guide you through the selection process as you choose your favorite images and decide on what products or collections best fit your needs.

If coming back to the session isn’t a good option for your family, I do offer online gallery viewings too.

Your digital images will be ready for you on the day of your viewing and ordering appointment.

Orders of prints, wall art, canvas wraps, keepsake boxes, and albums can take 1-2 weeks depending on production times for each item.  I promise, I will get your items to you as soon as possible.
