This baby boy from Faribault came in for a photo session as soon as photographers got the OK to start working again. We photographed his mom’s maternity photography session before everything covid related hit, and then he was born during the 8-week state shut down.

He was a little older than most newborns, since we had to wait to get him in the studio, but did amazing and proved that babies don’t need to be in that little window of being under 14 days old like some other photographer a have.

The best part of shooting older babies is their amazing awake shots. They have the best eye contact and silly faces. I love capturing some awake shots of baby during sessions too. Plus parents love seeing their baby’s eyes open in shots.
