Baby Girl Photography Session | Baby Only

This sweet little one came by the studio for a baby girl photography session, that was focused just on her.  Her parents and older sibling weren’t part of the session, so all of the attention during this baby girl photography session was on her.  It was so much fun to have a session only focused on baby, and get to incorporate a bunch of fun new props from the session.  I love when parents come to a session with ideas, but also let me have some freedom with them.  This family wanted a session including pinks, purples, and whites.  It is a great mix of traditional girls colors, and one that let me use some old favorites and a lot of new photography props.

Baby Girl Photography Session | Pretty In Pink

This little knit newborn sleeper is one of the newest props in the studio for a posed newborn photography session.  I love how cute it in on little baby girls.  And the shade of pink is the best!  It is also a great option for parents that want a posed newborn session and for their newborn girl to be fully covered during the baby girl photography session.  Babies also love it because it is super warm and they all fall fast asleep while wearing it.  This outfit was a great match for one of my favorite layering pieces for a baby girl photography session, this chunky knit layer from A Wrinkle In Time Photography Props.  It is one of my most used and oldest props in the studio, and still a client favorite.  This adorable little pink leather bow is also from A Wrinkle In Time Photography Props.  Can you tell she is a favorite baby girl photography session prop vendor?

Baby Girl Photography Session | All Those Little Details

A parent favorite at baby girl photography session as these cute detail images.  Who doesn’t love close up images that document exactly what your newborn baby looked like when they were weeks old.  From their little nose, fuzzy hairline, long fingers, sweet little toes and more. These marco photography images are a staple for a baby girl photography session at my Northfield Photography Studio.

Baby Girl Photography Session | Bucket Pose

One of my favorite props for a baby girl photography session is this adorable floral print bucket.  It is so cute and feminine. The pink flowers on the bucket are a perfect way to incorporate just a touch of flowers and a girly feel to a session.  The bucket is a favorite of mine, if you read the blog about newborn photography posts often, you will have seen this bucket in almost all of the posts. This bucket is from Hello Little, and is seriously one of the best props I have seen.  They have multiple outer covers that can quickly change the look of this bucket.  It is a must have for sessions.

And this litter girl agreed during her photography session – I mean, look at her little smile!

Baby Girl Photography Session | Star Backdrop

I feel like this baby girl photography session is becoming an advertisement for A Wrinkle In Time Photography Props.  This white star backdrop is from her, and is a studio favorite since I added to the options for backdrop options for a baby girl photography session.  It is a perfect mix of simple backdrops, and a cute detail.  So many of my parents have star and moon themed nurseries for their babies, and this white star backdrop is a perfect way to incorporate that into their session, while still keeping within my simple and timeless newborn photography style at my Minneapolis area newborn portrait studio.

Baby Girl Photography Session | Purple Floral Backdrop

Mom wanted to keep the colors of her newborn girl photography session to pink, white, and purple.  This soft purple floral lace backdrop was a great option to stay in that color selection, and while adding some texture and feminine feel to backdrops.  This little girl would randomly wake up during her baby girl photography session, and it was great to incorporate both sleeping and awake newborn photographer into this part of the session.

Baby Girl Photography Session | Tucked In Pose

This sweet tucked in pose is a favorite for babies that are fast asleep during their baby girl photography session.  It is a great way to add some sleepy poses to a session, an also add a more lifestyle approach, with the newborn baby all tucked in for a goodnight sleep.  I love now adorably and sweet babies look in this tucked on pose, and how it can transform a regular backdrop in a more lifestyle and less structured pose for a studio newborn session at my Minneapolis newborn studio.

Baby Girl Photography Session | Silly Awake Poses

I love when babies are awake during their baby girl photography session, and especially when I can get some funny pictures.  When my own kids were little, I loved just watching all of the funny faces they made.  Adding these images to a gallery for a baby girl photography session give parents a couple images that make them smile or even chuckle, and often have parents commenting on how these silly newborn faces are ones that their newborn baby makes all of the time.  I love giving families beautiful posed images of their baby at a baby girl photography session, but I also love being able to give them quality images of faces like this that are daily family favorites.
