Minneapolis MN Newborn Photographer
Newborn boy sessions are one my my favorite session to photographs as a Minneapolis MN newborn photographer.   Newborn baby girls can get a lot of attention, because there are more props aimed specially at them, while boy props are ones that can be used for both boys and girls.  Plus being a newborn photographer, I need to continuously add more and more props to my collection, and love adding more boyish props, like the ones used during this session. Being a Minneapolis MN newborn photographer I am lucky to get so many adorable newborns into my Northfield studio, some that travel a little ways to do so.  Being located in the south metro, and just a short drive from Minnesota’s largest city, Minneapolis, the neighborhood my studio is located in is an adorable one with a small town feel to it.

Minneapolis MN Newborn Photographer | Newborn Bed Prop

A favorite prop from the studio for sessions with me as their Minneapolis MN newborn photographer are little bed.  These little beds are perfect sized for babies, and make them look so adrable all tucked in.  This newborn baby boy loved being in the bed prop and swaddled during his session with a Minneapolis MN newborn photographer.Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer

Minneapolis MN Newborn Photographer | Vintage Quits

I can’t lie, I am a sucker for vintage quilts. This blue quilt is a favorite of mine, and one that many moms lobe used during their session with a Minneapolis MN newborn photographer.  It is a great way to add some vintage charm, and some traditional boy tones to the session.  Of all the quilts in the studio, this is one of the my favorites, and also one of the first ones I added to my prop collection.Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer

Minneapolis MN Newborn Photographer | Baby Bear Bonnet

I have a lot of props, and there are a few that stand out to me as a Minneapolis MN newborn photographer for newborn sessions.  One of the newborn baby bonnets that stand out to me is this adorable baby bear bonnet.  The gray is an amazing gray, and goes well with tons of props, wraps, and layers in my Minneapolis newborn photographer studio.  It is from one of my favorite bonnets ever, and from an amazing vendor that is taking a little break from prop making – which I hope is shirt term.  Because her knit bonnets and wraps are not only favorites, but beautifully handmade and gorgeous details. I also like to add some variety to sessions, and have both images with the bonnet and images without the bonnet in their gallery, and a way to add some variety to images as a Minneapolis MN newborn photographer.Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer

Minneapolis MN Newborn Photographer | Fabric Backdrops

Newborn baby baby boys sessions are a favorite.  I love that they are a little more stripped down that other sessions at my Minneapolis MN newborn photographer where girl props can slowly take away from baby.  I love adding a variety of colors backdrops to sessions, this Minneapolis MN newborn photographer session included backdrops that were blue, tan, gray, white.  Some layering pieces, bonnets, and wraps add just enough texture and depth to pictures, that baby isn’t the only think in the pictures, but keeps set ups and prop choices simple.Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer

Minneapolis MN Newborn Photographer | Mugshots

One of the main poses I include in my Minneapolis MN newborn photographer newborn sessions are these adorable face shots, that I call mugshots.  They are such a great way to capture baby’s personality.  I am always amazed as hoe many faces these little newborn babies can have during this part of their Minneapolis MN newborn photographer session.  They all seem to step up and make sure they have a great variety of the more adorable, and crazy, faces.  They are a favorite of mine, and of parents.   So many parents ask for them specifically when they inquire about a session, and make sure we get them included in their newborn session with me.Minneapolis, MN Newborn Photographer
