Ready to Book Your Session?

Let’s start planning your session.  Use the button below to start the process of planing your custom photography session with me.

Have questions?

I would love to connect and answer any questions you have on a session with me.

Use the link below to set up a no obligation studio visit where we can talk in detail, you can look over my prop options, and see the prints and products I offer in person.

Do you offer mini sessions?

Mini sessions are offered periodically throughout the year and on a limited basis.  If you are interested in mini session details, I encourage you to join our mailing list so you are up to date on studio offerings.

Do you offer prints?

Yes!  I always encourage my clients to invest in printed products.  I know we live in a digital world, but there is nothing better than pictures of your family hanging on your wall, beautiful albums, and prints. I work with top printing labs from across the country to offer stunning ways to display your family pictures.

Do you offer digital images?

Yes.  I know prints and products are not a good match for everyone.  Sessions include a set number of digital images, and additional digital images are available for purchase at your gallery viewing appointment.

When will we get to see our pictures from a session?

You will be invited back to the studio 1-2 weeks after your session for your viewing and ordering appointment. This is when you will see your final images.  I will also guide you through the selection process as you choose your favorite images and decide on what products or collections best fit your needs.

When will our prints / wall art / albums and digitals be ready?

Your digital images will be ready for you on the day of your viewing and ordering appointment. Orders of prints, wall art, canvas wraps, keepsake boxes, and albums can take 1-2 weeks depending on production times for each item.  I promise, I will get your items to you as soon as possible.

When should I book my newborn session?

I recommend booking your newborn session when you are in your second trimester.  I take limited newborn sessions each month, and booking early can guarantee your spot on my calendar.  Booking early also allows for time to include a complimentary maternity session if you wanted to include one.

What is my baby is already here?

I do my best to fit in all newborn inquiries.  Please reach out and I will let you know if I have an opening.  If I don’t, I will refer you to photographer friends that might be able to accommodate you.

When do newborn sessions take place?

Studio newborn sessions take place at my Northfield studio.  Newborn sessions are typically Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings beginning at 9:00am.  I can sometimes accommodate weekend newborns.  If you need a weekend session, please let me know when you inquire about your session.

How long does a newborn session last?

Newborn sessions typically last 2-2.5 hours.  Some babies need more time, and others can finish my normal session poses in less than 2 hours.  Newborn sessions are based on baby’s feeding and sleeping schedules, which can vary greatly from baby to baby.

What do I need to bring to my newborn session?

The only thing you needs to bring is your baby.  I have a large collection of newborn props from local and international vendors, and in a variety of colors and styles.

I do encourage families to bring items that are important to them to include in the session soon. Some examples include a special baby blanket, a heirloom item, or anything special that you would like included.

How do I prepare for my newborn session?

Once your session is booked, I will send you a detailed what to expect guide for your session.  It will include tips for a happy and sleepy baby, clothing choices for family pictures, and much more.

What about my older kids at a newborn session?

Being a mom of two kids myself, I know that adding a baby to the family and be a big adjustment to siblings and the attention they receive.  I always include big sibling pictures in newborn sessions, so they feel like a bigger part of the session.  I also have snacks, toys, and Disney+ in the studio.  There is also a playground a block away, and an adorable cupcake shop in walking distance if they need to get out of the studio and burn off some energy.

When should I book my maternity session?

I recommend booking your maternity session in your second trimester.  This will give us time to discuss your session, try on maternity dresses and gowns, plan your location and more.  I also recommend maternity sessions take place when you are 32-36 weeks, when you have a nice defined baby bump, but not completely uncomfortable yet.

When do maternity sessions take place?

They can take place anytime. I have clients that book them earlier in their pregnancy as a birth announcement.  Others wait until later in their pregnancy.  I recommend maternity sessions take place when you are 32-36 weeks along – but that is just a suggestion, and we will plan your session at the best time for you.

How long does a maternity session last?

Maternity sessions are around an hour long.  I find that an hour of posing, dress changes, and more can be exhausting for moms.  I keep your well-being a priority, and have a good session flow to maximize images in an hour.

What should I wear to my maternity session?

You are welcome to any of the dresses or gowns in my large collection for maternity clients.  I have options ranging from casual, glamorous gowns, lace robes, and more risqué options if you are feeling daring.

I also have a detailed what to wear guide if you want to pick out your own outfits.  I also include tips for dressing the rest of the family for the session too.
